Na wystawę zostały wybrane prace ważne dla twórczości Rist, takie jak liryczna opowieść o kobiecie, której każda część ciała symbolizuje jeden z regionów świata I Want to See How You See or Portrait of Cornelia Providoli z 2003 roku oraz Aujourd’hui (I Couldn’t Agree With You More) będąca subtelną konfrontacją rzeczywistości i wyobraźni.
Pokazane zostanie także wideo przygotowane specjalnie dla galerii Heppen Transfer. Pipilotti Rist zaprosiła do projektu dwie polskie tancerki - Ewelinę Guzik i Kayę Kołodziejczyk, których performance na tle pracy Homo Sapiens Sapiens sfilmuje szwajcarski fotograf Raphael Zubler. Homo Sapiens Sapiens, w którym dwie kobiety (Ewelina Guzik i duńska aktorka Gry Bay) tworzą uwodzicielską atmosferę zmysłowości, po raz pierwszy wyświetlono na kopule kościoła San Stae w ramach Biennale w Wenecji w 2005 roku.
Pipilotti Rist (ur. 1962) – mieszka i pracuje w Zurichu i w szwajcarskich górach. Lubi czerwone buraki, jej ulubiona liczba to 54, a Pipilotti nie jest jej prawdziwym imieniem. Od momentu pojawienia się na międzynarodowej scenie artystycznej w połowie lat 80 brała udział w licznych wystawach indywidualnych i zbiorowych. Jest obecnie jedną z najbardziej uznanych artystek wideo.
Ewelina Guzik (ur. 1977) – Polska tancerka, performerka i aktorka mieszkająca w Zurychu. Od 2005 roku jest muzą i filmowym alter ego Rist. Występuje w jej wielu pracach: Homo Sapiens Sapiens, À la belle étoile, Gravity Be My Friend, Lungenflügel, A Liberty Statue for Löndön. Zagrała także główną rolę w pełnometrażowym filmie Rist „Pepperminta”.
Kaya Kołodziejczyk (ur. 1981) – Polska tancerka i performerka. Ukończyła Państwową Szkołę Baletową im. Romana Turczynowicza w Warszawie i P.A.R.T.S. w Brukseli. Obecnie studiuje w HFMDK we Frankfurcie nad Menem. Jest założycielką nieformalnej grupy U/LOI Universal Law Of Impermanence.
Raphael Zubler (ur. 1972) – fotograf, mieszka i pracuje w Zurychu.

Heppen Transfer is pleased to present an exhibition of works by Pipilotti Rist who for more than twenty years has been playing a significant role on the international contemporary art scene. Rist is best known for her seductive dream-like video installations and richly colored images.
The exhibition will include videos that are central to Rist's work such as I Want to See How You See (or a portrait of Cornelia Providoli), 2003 in which she explores the macrocosm of humanity in a lyrical tale played over images of a person where each body part symbolically represents an area of the world and a subtle confrontation of reality and imagination in Aujourd’hui (I Couldn’t Agree With You More), 1999.
Exhibition will also include a video being specially produced for Heppen Tranfer, filmed in our premises by a Swiss photographer Raphael Zubler during live performances of two polish dancers invited to the project by Pipilotti Rist - Ewelina Guzik and Kaya Kołodziejczyk - to projection of a poetic piece, Homo Sapiens Sapiens by Rist, in which two women (Ewelina Guzik and Danish actress Gry Bay) create a seductive atmosphere of sensuality. The original video was made for the ceiling of the church of San Stae in Venice during Venice Biennale in 2005.
Pipilotti Rist (b.1962) – lives and works in Zürich and the mountains of Switzerland. She likes red beets, her favorite number is 54, and her real name is not Pipilotti. Since emerging on the international art scene in the mid-’80s, Rist has had numerous solo and group exhibitions and is one of the most celebrated video artists working today.
Ewelina Guzik (b. 1977, Kraków) – Polish dancer, performer and actress, lives in Zurich. Rist’s muse and on-screen alter ego since 2005. She plays in various works: Homo Sapiens Sapiens, À la belle étoile, Gravity Be My Friend, Lungenflügel, A Liberty Statue for Löndön. She also is the main character in Pepperminta, the feature film by Rist.
Kaya Kołodziejczyk (b. 1981) – Polish dancer and performer. Graduated from the Roman Turczynowicz National School of Ballet in Warsaw and P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. Currently at the MA studies at HFMDK in Frankfurt am Main. She’s the founder of the informal U/LOI Universal Law Of Impermanence group.
Raphael Zubler (b 1972, Zurich) – photographer, lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland.
